4th India Internatiol Pet Trade Fair 2010 (IIPTF)

Dear Pet Parents,

The 4th India International Pet Trade Fair 2010 (IIPTF), to be held between February 12 &14, 2010, at the NSIC Exhibition Ground, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, will be spilling with fun activities this year as it has a different pet event allotted to each day of its 3-day duration. A Dog Obedience competition will be held on February 12, 2010, whereas an All Breed Championship will be organised on February 13, 2010. The last and most looked-forward-to pet events of the fair— to be held on February 14, which also happens to be VALENTINE\’S DAY—will be the Dog & Cat Fashion Shows, in which approximately 150 dogs and 50 cats are expected to participate.

All the 3 pet events will be organised concurrently to the trade aspect of the fair, with
exciting prizes for winners and mouth watering goodies for pet participants! There will be no loud music during the Dog & Cat Fashion Show, so as to not abuse the sensitive hearing of pets present. Also, free backstage grooming will be provided to all pet participants of the Fashion Show. Both the Dog Fashion Show and the Cat Fashion Show will be held separately to avoid any cases of victimisation or bullying (“cat fights”, pun intended) on either side. All pet events will be held from 10am to 5pm every day, whereas the main trade fair will be ongoing, from 10am to 7pm daily.

IMP NOTES:
IIPTF does not discriminate on the basis of lineage. In other words we don\’t care if Poochy\’s great grandfather was Sir P Diddy, The Third or not. Mixed breeds, mongrels, lazy dogs, fat dogs, spoilt dogs, snooty dogs—all are welcome to participate in any or all of the pet events at IIPTF
For purebred participants, documents authenticating their breed are not required but updated vaccine cards are a must for all (even mixed breeds)
For those of you that are shy to enroll your pets because you\’ve never participated in a show before and are scared that your pets' under exposure to the world of dog shows might land you in an embarrassing spot, worry not. You have to show up at 9 am on the designated day, where experienced volunteers will coach you on what to do
Backstage grooming for fashion show participants
First aid team will be on standby
2 people are allowed free entry with pet participant
There will be no loud music for the sake of your pets
Dog Fashion Show and the Cat Fashion Show will be held separately to avoid any cases of “cat fights” between the two species

HURRY! Last date of registration is January 31!

You will have to send the cheque amount in accordance with the number of shows your pet is taking part in. For instance, if your pet is taking part in 1 event, then you have to pay Rs 250. If your pet is taking part in 2 events, then you have to pay Rs 350. If your pet is taking part in all 3 events, then you have to pay Rs 450.
